getting an assessment

there are multiple ways to get a dyslexia assessment.

contacting your local GP and discussing your concerns is one option. they will then add you to a waiting list for an assessment.

BDA also offer dyslexia assessments for both individuals and corporate.

universities also offer assessments within their student services, which more often than not have a fee. some universities have grants from funding bodies to cover the cost.
